Where I work by any other name is the same as it was before

Today I have worked 30 years for a company that has had eight name changes during that time. Back in the day I never thought I'd work for a company for any more than 5 or 6 years at best. I had either been laid off or moved on to another companies before this one. I had joined an office with about 400 employees 11 of us were graphic designers in 1988. I was older than the others and for some time now I'm the only one left and the office staff is at about 100 employees.We became part of 2,000 employee company and after several buyouts we are now part of a 64,000 employee world wide business. There are other graphic designers scattered around the company some of who I interact with to cover for each other when we take time off. It's been a great run for me doing interesting and at times intensive work. Presently I'm closing in on retirement within the next two years. I do not think I'll regret it when I do but I will remember my time here fondly.
