Christmas finish line in sight

So far so good. Really nice time on Christmas Eve dinner at Lois and Jim's with a couple of their neighbors and friends. light snacks, wine, a chili supper and cheese cake for desert. After returning home we settled in with Ian and Ali to watch the movie "Wild Target", starring, Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Grint and Rupert Everett. Very enjoyable evening all the way around. Christmas morning after cooking up a hearty breakfast of eggs and bacon in bagels of one's choice and breakfast mimosas. That and a cup of coffee and we were off to the living room for our gift exchange. The trilogy movie binge mellowed things down though plenty of action from the movie itself. between movies we snack , have lunch and supper leading into the final chapter. Been chilling around the house otherwise since then. Ian and Ali left yesterday morning but Ian will be back today while Ali is going duck hunting in New Jersey with her father. Ian, Carol and I will be going to a hockey game Friday night then Saturday is my side of the family's Christmas get together. I've actually made it to the gym a couple of times this week. May go tomorrow once I figure out what's going on. I did work for the office today from home, more time than I hoped it would take and there may be follow-up on what I did. I'll be stunned if I don't. That's how it usually works out.
