Christmas Eve with vacation thank you very much

For what seemed like a long time coming Christmas is now on the doorstep. Ian and Ali are here for the holiday. Had Carol's side of the family brunch get together yesterday at Lois and Jim's. As usual plenty to eat and drink, probably had too much to eat and just the right amount to drink. given the time of day it was just as well. Fun gift exchange, I now have a new bird feeder that I hope to see more visitors enjoying. Tonight we'll pop into a church service before returning to Lois and Jim's for supper. My side of the family will get together Saturday. Christmas tomorrow will be a big breakfast, gifts and binge watching Riddick movies with food and beverage breaks along the way. Maybe not the typical Christmas but over several years it's become part of a tradition to watch a movie trilogy on Christmas Day. Otherwise leading up to today we've watched "The Holiday" and last night "The Nightmare Before Christmas". With Ian and Ali here this is as good as it gets.
