Life is full of good and bad experiences but I seem to find the most pleasure from fleeting moments of each day. Sure I get frustrated a lot more than I should but every now and then "just a little is enough" to keep me going.

Waiting out the season
Been awhile since I've taken the time to post a new blog. Keeping busy on a number of things then I hit a point where I crash on the couch, watch a bit of TV, hit the sack and do it all again the next day. The one thing that stands out to me over the last couple of weeks is the weather. Rather average mid-winter temperatures but no new snow to speak of around our region while the southern Atlantic region including Washington DC have been getting clobbered. Now if you'll notice I'm not complaining given my usual laments and preference to the warmer seasons. No matter the weather this winter I've been making an effort to live in the moment, accept what nature delivers and bide my time until spring. I've been doing a good job of it too, so much so that I'm almost disappointed that it hasn't been snowing occasionally. What I am disappointed about is that the Vacationland RV and Camper Show we usually attend has changed their dates from February to April. That's low... it's always been my bridge to get me through winter. There is going to be a RV show in Augusta next month so maybe we'll end up going to each of them. Carol and I did manage to go to our camper dealer's open house a couple of weeks ago where we scoped out the new models. Pretty much concluded we liked the new version of the same one as at last year's open house.
Oh yeah, Friday, as usual, I had lunch at Marcy's. Steak and cheese sandwich was on the specials board. Couldn't go wrong there?
