Spring into winter

Not that it was unexpected but we woke up to a snow covered yard and house, a couple of inches with more snow falling lightly throughout the day. This is NOT suppose to happen on "bring the camper home from storage" day, what I consider the first day of spring. At least the roads hadn't any accumulated snow given the temperatures were above freezing, just a little slush here and there, no problem towing the camper. The further away from Ledge Hill I drove the less snow there was on the ground.

I found the contrast of snow covered spouting leaves interesting... to a point.

Just doesn't seem right having the rig in the yard with snow around. As of today all the snow is gone, unlikely to return given the 7-day forecast. Looking ahead to Memorial Day weekend Carol and I are looking to make campground reservations in the Boothbay Harbor region. Get a little sea breeze and some coastal views.
