Another 4th up to the County

Came up to the County Tuesday for the holiday which fell midweek this year. Staying at the camp. Bummer the old septic system died a few days before making the next day and a half a challenge with how we handled our "business". Yesterday morning brought the short term solution, a brand new portable outhouse otherwise known as a porta-potty. We need to replace all the underground stuff and be brought up to today's standards, that will cost quite a bit depending the type of systems allowed for our conditions. Whatever we have done will not happen until mid-fall at the earliest. As usual I'll be back in mid-August for my lake vacation. So we have been running around, watching the parade, a cookout at a sister-in-law's brother's house, hanging out on the camp porch drinking beer and wine and cooking on the grill.

Been real hot until today. Had rain overnight into mid morning and now windy with a mixture of sun and clouds. Tomorrow its back home to catch up on things before getting back to the office Monday.
