Snowed in

This fellow figured out where
to find a meal.
Everybody is snowed in, a lot of dire warnings and encouragement to stay home from the weather forecasters and the "authorities." Unfortunately there isn't enough common sense to leave it to the individual to figure to it out. Planning in advance Carol and I brought work home from the office so we're getting a little done though household distractions have their place. This storm classified as a blizzard has run along the entire northeast coast from Washington DC to Maine, into the Canadian Maritimes and beyond. Possibly a record event. Where our house is located we fall in the 15 to 20 inch (38-51 cm) range. Before lunch I wheeled out the snowbeast and after dealing with a couple of malfunctions made a path to the roadway then out to the backyard for the dog's comfort area. Didn't take long for those areas to refill though I have taken a quick swipe thorough the comfort area, almost time to do it again. I expect to do the majority of cleanup in the morning. Oh, good news... there is another blizzard winding up for Friday night. Nice to have my weekend planned out for me.

First peek from the Garage - that's
a lot of snow and it's early yet.
