Almost enough of a frost this morning to make me think it had snowed over night is how Thanksgiving Day welcomed me this morning. Usually I'll step outside with the dogs first thing so it's been a strange overnight as I'd had them in the kennel yesterday for a two night stay. This morning Carol and I will be away for the holiday and spending the night at an inn. We'll be going to Ian's apartment for dinner with Ali and her parents and grandmother. Another one of those twists in routines that comes as your adult child lives their life on their own. We've been looking forward to going to their apartment and enjoying time with them.
