Life is full of good and bad experiences but I seem to find the most pleasure from fleeting moments of each day. Sure I get frustrated a lot more than I should but every now and then "just a little is enough" to keep me going.

Winter milestone
Like any season of the year there are plus and minuses abound. For me winter is the season with the strongest contrast. As beautiful as the fallen snow is moving it is another matter. This winter so far has been more to my liking, as we close in on mid-February there's barely 6 inches on the ground and very little happening in the 7-day forecast. There is still plenty of time for copious amounts to make an appearance but I'll worry about it when it's on the door step. The real milestone of winter took place yesterday otherwise known as Superbowl Sunday. NFL games sure go a long way to making winter tolerable but usually I feel like the remaining couple of months become a lot drearier once the football season is over. Strange as it seems I'm rather content with the present status, the days are flying by and I feel like spring will be upon us in a heartbeat. As disappointed as I was that the Green Bay Packers didn't make it to the Superbowl the game between the New England Patriots and The New York Giants was fascinating. I was rooting for the Pats but my pick to win was the Giants though I'd expected a higher score for these teams. Now that's it's over the next milestone has become "pitchers and catchers in two weeks" report to spring training.
