Multiplication

In the midst of what was becoming a hectic
week an impressive sunrise greets me as I
prepared to leave for work.

So, remember in my previous blog I mentioned what an intense time I had work last week? Well multiple that by two for the week just ending. More work came at me this week and I even picked up some work supporting a proposal effort by one of our west coast offices with our 3 hour difference. That one included a couple of evening phone calls at home and some work today I could do from home. There's plenty more waiting for me Monday morning. I didn't even have time for workouts as I had work on my side projects that I had to attend to in the evenings. The upside is seven and a half hours of overtime. Can always use the extra cash.

I did manage to go for a noontime walk several times during the week as the picture above shows one my favorite residences that I pass on my Western Promenade route. By Friday I was able to look forward to seeing Ian for a few minutes as he was in town for an overnight OA activity. After that Carol and I headed to Applebees for dinner and to unwind. Carol caught me up with what Ian has been doing, some really interesting stuff. I had a Fiesta Lime Chicken with a Guinness Draft - that did the trick. Refreshed and ready for the weekend... and next week maybe.
