The great month of September

The lad is back on campus, there's a the slew of family September birthdays and the weather is perfect. Also, the start of the football season. It would be my favorite month except for the fact that it brings the end of summer. As of now things at work are slow and I'll have two and a half weeks of vacation to use before the end of the year. I'll try to take some of the time to do some backyard work - relocate the dog pen, change some of the fencing and build a deck. If that all goes well I may try a couple of repair jobs and get to my mother's house and put a coat of stain on her deck.
