Not a lot going on as this month draws to a close on Ledge Hill. Beyond this tranquil setting there has been plenty else swirling around with the attack/rioting at the US Capitol followed by the Presidential Inauguration of Joe Biden. There is the second impeachment of former president Trump and plenty of reports on the continued COVID-19 pandemic.
Presently I'm keyed into when the deployment of the COVID-19 vaccine will happen. With additional mutations and the slow roll out of the vaccine a guy with a respiratory issue can get a little anxious. In spite of that I'm in the tier group of 65 and up and the semi-good news department Carol and I have been able to get on a list to get our shots... as vaccines become available. That is an unknown for the time being.
On the lighter side of things my mother (90s) will received her first vaccine shot soon and Ian as a first responder received his second shot. - We had new garage doors installed, on to the next project on our list. - We signed up for Medicare Part B as I'm on Carol's employer's health insurance and she is retiring later on March. Next will be navigating choosing an Advantage Plan the suits us. - Carol's birthday was this month. I bought and assembled her birthday present, a wooden potting bench table with dry sink. She plans to spend more time with the yard gardening.Had a couple of light snow storms come through that together kept me busy for awhile. Temps have been chilly but manageable. Northeaster on the way for mid-week, could add up to a lot of work. Good thing that I'm retired. That's it for now - stay safe.
