Up ta camp, vacation week

A few road bumps but Carol and I made it to the camp. More tire troubles but with the truck as we left the camper home. Should have taken a picture of the loaded vehicle, quite the sight. Almost looks like we were moving to a new location. Brought Scotia our cat along. She had an opinion during most of the trip. For today we are all settled in. Took a walk before breakfast which on returning I cooked omelets with chopped red peppers, onions, kielbasa, toast and coffee. The day has started with sun and a bit of cloudiness moving into full cloud cover here late morning. Possible severe rain is forecasted for the mid-afternoon. If 6 counts as a hoard then the Bluejays are here representing, noisily!

Sad news though we all have to go sometime.

My favorite scene from my favorite movie, Blade Runner, “I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
