Finally getting back to taking a camping weekend. No holiday weekend to wrap around so we made a 3 dayer of our own as we have taken Friday and Monday off from work. Grandview Campground located in Rochester, New Hampshire is for the most part a "seasonal" venue, Many if not all the wooded sites are occupied as seasonals and it looks like a strong veterans presence as well. There are three beautiful beach areas along Baxter Lake, multiple playgrounds, a super nice rec hall and a very good staff and services. The weather has been great though hot and bit humid. A shower came through this morning and since then the storm clouds have moved out leaving the nice puffy ones with plenty of blue sky for a spectacular view. Ian was able to stop by Friday night for supper and a campfire all of which was the bonus of the weekend.
